WAITE PARK, MINNESOTA, JULY 7, 2009 - Ben’s Structural Fabrication, a structural steel fabricator for industrial, commercial, government, education, and healthcare buildings based in Waite Park, Minnesota, has been awarded the Certification Standard for Steel Building Structures from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).

“It is truly an honor to receive this certification,” said Rob Schwartz, Chief Executive Office of Ben’s Structural Fabrication. “We have a committed team of employees who have proven throughout the past 50 years that we create a quality product unmatched in our industry. We feel we have earned this certification and look forward to continuing to serve our clients with the same expertise and quality they have come to expect from Ben’s.”

About Ben’s Structural Fabrication
In 1959, Benjamin Schwartz – a skilled blacksmith – opened a small shop in St. Cloud, MN. Originally focusing on tool sharpening for a local company, Ben’s – as it came to be known - quickly received requests from local residents and business owners for ornamental iron projects. This focus on tooling and iron work would lead the company through decades of growth, when in the mid-80’s the company added structural fabrication to it’s services – a direct result of the growth in and around the St. Cloud area. Today, Ben’s Structural Fabrication has grown to over 40 employees and provides a full spectrum of in-house services including estimating, detailing, structural fabrication, and environmental services to companies and projects throughout the United States.

About AISC
